Job Description
Overview Looking for Honest, Dependable person to process sales in our small, neighborhood store. Responsibilities Operate the Register accurately to process sales with friendliness and precision Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist in purchases. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with integrity and accuracy Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring merchandise is well-stocked and properly displayed through merchandising and stocking tasks Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and practicing courteous phone etiquette Support store operations by supervising inventory levels. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly Familiarity with cash handling procedures is advantageous Demonstrated strong communication skills with patience and enthusiasm. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks Knowledge of grocery store operations is helpful, but will train.
