CASHIER / SALES ASSOCIATE

Smokin' Joe's Tobacco Shop, Inc. is a local leader in the tobacco retail industry and is currently seeking qualified candidates for Cashiers in your area. If you are customer service driven and enjoy working in a clean, professional, smoke-free work environment, then this may be the opportunity for you. Our Cashiers are responsible for providing customers with fast and friendly service. Candidates must be dependable and possess a good work ethic. Cashier responsibilities include managing a well merchandised store, operating the cash registers, and maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store. We are looking for motivated individuals who are people oriented and have great communication skills to help us fulfill our mission of providing excellent customer service.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to use a calculator, computer, telephone and other equipment as needed
• Previous customer service or related experience preferred, but not required Qualifications include but are not limited to:
• Ability to accurately operate a cash register
• Strong commitment to teamwork
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate with customers
• Desire to provide great customer service
• Ability to work in a tobacco retail environment
• Capable of performing daily cleaning / stocking tasks
