Job Description
NOTE - this is a hybrid role, all applicants must be able to work in Sand Lake and Edmore, Mi. We are searching for high-energy, team players to add to our team! Must have weekend availability. This is a Seasonal position lasting until September. Job Description The Budtender/Sales Associate is the ambassador for the customer's experience, from greeting through purchase, and facilitating the customer relationship. A Budtender assesses the customer's needs and educates them on the benefits of various products. Job Responsibilities Represents the brand in a positive and compliant manner while providing the best-in-class service that consistently exceeds our customer's expectations Establishes relationships with customers and provides a memorable customer experience to create loyalty to our brand Offers customers helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance including relaying information on product equivalencies and responsible use of products as well as making tailored recommendations Stays current on product and cannabis-related information and provides information in a digestible and customer-friendly way Contributes to a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures Maintains a clean and professional appearance while in our customer-based environment or while representing our brand Ensures the store is clean, organized, and safe with special attention paid to merchandising standards Assists with new inventory unloading and stocking as needed Greest guests in a friendly manner and checks in all customers by verifying their ID and logging information in the point of sale system Assists customers over the phone with any questions and log and prepare any over-the-phone orders Operates a telephone, handheld transmitter, and a computer Navigates the store storage drawers and storage rooms to prepare customer orders accurately Packages orders and communicates status and total charges to retail team Operates a hand held radio transmitter Other duties as assigned General Job Requirements Six months to one year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service required One or more years of work experience in a related industry preferred Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate change and count down a drawer required Knowledge of basic computer skills, prior experience with point-of-sale software preferred Ability to remain on feet and in active motion for majority of shift (6 - 10 hours) Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds required High School Diploma or equivalent required Applicant must pass a Background Check Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
