Job Description

Customer Service Sales Support Full-time Summary:
Nassau Provisions Kosher Foods Inc., a local Long Island Food Distributor, is seeking an experienced customer service professional with 2+ years of proven experience in a customer service role. This ideal candidate will need a sales support background and strong Microsoft Excel skills. This individual will be responsible for answering incoming calls and responding to emails timely, handling customer/sales team questions or complaints, processing return authorizations and credits. This role requires the qualified candidate to possess a polished and professional demeanor, work independently as well as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail while remaining highly efficient.
Final Assigned Shift:
After 90 days of training: Monday through
Thursday:
11am
  • 8pm
Sunday:
  • 2pm•8pm•remote Training hours for first 90 days: Monday through
Thursday:
11 am
  • 7:30pm and Friday 8am
  • 4:30pm
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
  • Process and/or modify customer's orders
  • Provide answers and support to our customers
  • Sales team inquiries
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to emails timely
  • Generate price lists and other necessary reports
  • Process customer return authorizations and credits
  • Prompt investigations regarding missing merchandise
  • Assist the Accounts Receivable team with customer deductions
  • Process vendor credits and free fills
  • Create new customer accounts
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills highly preferred
  • Good telecommunication skills, i.e. polished and professional demeanor, excellent active listening skills.
