This role focuses on actively prospecting and securing partnerships with fabricators, contractors, and retail stores, with the goal of placing company products and samples in customer showrooms. The Outside Sales Representative will travel within the assigned territory to meet with potential and current clients, present countertop and cabinet products, and build long-term partnerships that generate consistent sales. This position requires a self-motivated, results-driven individual who can independently manage their territory, identify opportunities, and close new business. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, competitive pricing, and customer satisfaction, while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Responsibilities Prospect and develop new business with fabricators, contractors, and retail stores throughout the Central Valley (Bakersfield to Modesto) Conduct in-person visits to potential customers to introduce and promote countertop and cabinet products Secure new accounts and place company samples and displays in customer showrooms Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat and consistent sales Manage and grow an assigned sales territory independently Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and account goals Present product features, pricing, and promotions to customers in a professional manner Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and close sales opportunities Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, operations, and management) to ensure accurate orders, inventory availability, and timely delivery Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities Maintain records of sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline updates Provide feedback to management on pricing, product demand, and customer preferences Actively seek out and open new accounts on a consistent basis Drive showroom presence by ensuring company products are displayed and promoted in partner locations Take ownership of territory growth and treat the territory as your own business Travels 40% - 80% locally, TBD. Performs additional duties as required and or requested. Ability to determine solutions for customers. Requirements Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals while maintaining positive customer relationships Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting sales targets Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in clients and motivate team collaboration
