Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting them with their purchasing needs. Position Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and increasing revenue for the company's commercial cleaning services. This position focuses on prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, proposal development, contract negotiation, and maintaining long-term customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Identify and pursue new commercial cleaning opportunities within assigned territories. Develop and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, office administrators, manufacturing facilities, medical offices, schools, and other commercial clients. Conduct site visits and building assessments to determine customer cleaning needs. Prepare and present customized service proposals and pricing packages. Negotiate contracts and close new business agreements. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Maintain an active pipeline of prospects using CRM software. Attend networking events, trade shows, and business association meetings. Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients. Conduct customer follow-up visits to ensure satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities. Prepare weekly sales activity and forecasting reports for management. Qualifications 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in commercial cleaning, facility services, staffing, building maintenance, or related industries. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong prospecting and business development skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling janitorial, facility maintenance, or building services. Existing relationships with commercial property managers or facility managers. Knowledge of cleaning industry standards and practices. Compensation Competitive base salary plus commission. Performance bonuses. Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement. Cell phone reimbursement. Health insurance and other benefits (if applicable). Performance Expectations Consistently achieve established revenue goals. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Generate a minimum number of new qualified prospects each week. Submit accurate sales forecasts and activity reports. Contribute to the growth and profitability of the company through new account acquisition and account retention.
