In this role, you will be the vital link between our sales department and clients, providing exceptional support that drives customer satisfaction and business growth. This position combines remote sales support activities with direct customer engagement in the field to ensure strong account development, customer satisfaction, and market expansion. This role blends inside sales execution with outside customer engagement to drive growth in blow mold tooling and service solutions. Duties Create and drive new customer opportunities by identifying industry challenges and providing tooling solutions that meet customer needs. Grow market share within existing accounts and expand into new customers and markets to diversify the business. Maintain and strengthen long-term customer relationships while actively developing new business opportunities. Serve as primary point of contact for assigned accounts, balancing both inside and outside sales activities. Conduct regular customer visits, sales calls, and on-site meetings to understand customer needs, applications, and upcoming projects. Manage inbound and outbound sales activity including quoting, follow-up, negotiation, and order closure. Work closely with the VP, engineering, and shop personnel to ensure accurate, timely quotations and alignment on project scope. Maintain and update CRM systems with opportunity tracking, forecasting, and customer activity. Drive tool repair and refurbishment growth by identifying opportunities within existing accounts. Forecast sales performance and maintain a healthy pipeline to support company growth objectives. Coordinate project timelines, customer communications, shipment tracking, and delivery updates. Support administrative and sales support functions including quote preparation, scheduling, and documentation. Participate in weekly and bi-weekly sales meetings to review pipeline, customer activity, and business development progress. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and 3-6 years of inside sales, outside sales, business development, or sales support experience in manufacturing, tooling, plastics, blow molding, or related industries. Demonstrated success in developing long-term customer relationships, generating new business, and achieving sales targets. Experience with tooling, manufacturing processes, blow molding, plastics processing, or industrial products preferred. Strong ability to analyze sales data, customer trends, and forecasting information. Proven ability to identify customer needs and develop practical solutions that drive business growth. Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects, quotations, and customer requirements simultaneously. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word. Experience with CRM systems preferred. Ability to build strong working relationships with customers, engineering, production, and shop floor personnel alike. Willingness to travel for customer visits, industry events, and business development activities as needed.
