Job Description
Looking for a self-motivated traveling ink technician to service various customer sites throughout the Northeast. One who can logically work through problems to find solutions and is dedicated to success. We are looking for an overachiever to join our fine progressive company. Position Responsibilities- Produce and quality control finished inks using dispensing equipment
- Use and maintain lab tools such as Zahn cups, pH meters, prepress proofing equipment, etc.
- Complete projects with write ups
- Correspond with customers and Quantum Technical/Lab staff daily
- Work through scheduling and managing workload accordingly
- Manage inventory levels both for in-plant bases and raw material via max / min structure, and finished ink scheduling
- Technically support the customer and press operations. Provide proactive support for new and challenging print projects, trouble shoot problems and work with customers/co-workers to find solutions to problems Position Skills / Requirements
- Must be able to work around the Northeast area
- Must be proficient in math
- Must be able to see and differentiate color variances
- Must be proficient with computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must have excellent verbal and oral communication skills
- Must be able to establish and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to work alone, be proactive and display a high sense of urgency
- Position requires problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift, up to 50 pounds
