Job Description

NOW HIRING COUNTER SERVERS
Join the team at Jimmy's PortSide, a family-owned restaurant proudly serving Rhode Island for 70 years! Located directly across from the Block Island Ferry in beautiful Narragansett, we are a high-volume seafood restaurant featuring indoor dining, outdoor seating, a patio bar, live music, and some of the freshest local seafood you'll find anywhere. We're looking for energetic, friendly, and hardworking Counter Servers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoy taking care of people.
What You'll Do:
✅ Take customer orders accurately and efficiently✅ Bag and organize orders Provide outstanding customer service✅ Operate our POS system✅ Stock and maintain your work area✅ Keep up with a busy, nonstop line during peak hours
What We're Looking For:
Previous waitress/server experience preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask under pressure Dependable, positive attitude Comfortable working long shifts on your feet Pay starts at $20/hour PLUS tips. Our counter staff typically earn an additional $20-$30+ per hour in tips during the season, making this an incredible opportunity for the right person to earn great money while working in one of Rhode Island's busiest seasonal restaurants.
