Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Sales & Service Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive sales and deliver exceptional service. In this role, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, showcase products through demos, and provide tailored solutions that enhance their shopping experience. Your proactive approach will help foster loyalty, increase sales, and ensure the store remains inviting and well-organized. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs. Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting. Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns, and maintaining professional phone etiquette. Assist with inventory management through stock checks, replenishment, and participating in periodic stock counts. Support sales goals by promoting special offers, loyalty programs, and additional products or services to maximize revenue. Handle battery installations in various vehicle types. Qualifications Must be able to lift 50+ lbs for battery installations and shelf stocking. Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math calculations. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and standing for extended periods. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences. Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail sales processes is beneficial.
