Job Description
Farmers Market Sales Associate — Soda City Market Pavé Bakery is looking for a friendly, dependable Farmers Market Sales Associate to represent us at the Soda City Market in Columbia, SC. This is a new market for us, and we are looking for someone who can help us create a strong first impression. If the market goes well, this role would likely continue through December, then resume again in March. This role is focused on creating a warm, organized, and efficient customer experience at the market. Responsibilities include setting up the pastry display, selling products, answering customer questions, handling checkout, keeping the booth clean and stocked, and helping with breakdown at the end of the market. The schedule is Saturdays from 7:00am-1:30pm . The right person is reliable, personable, comfortable talking with customers, and able to work quickly during busy market rushes. Bakery or food service experience is helpful but not required. A positive attitude, good communication, and attention to detail are most important. This is a great role for someone who enjoys local food, interacting with customers, and being part of a growing bakery.
