Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection, answering questions with enthusiasm and clarity Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products Perform regular stocking, inventory checks, and stock replenishment to keep the store well-supplied Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person while practicing professional phone etiquette Assist with grocery store operations such as cashiering, basic math calculations for transactions, and ensuring accurate retail math practices Requirements Previous experience with POS systems and cash handling preferred but not required; training provided Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus for supporting team members Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments is advantageous Must be able to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads throughout shifts; attention to detail is essential for merchandising and stocking tasks Join us in creating an energetic shopping environment where every customer leaves satisfied!
