Part-time, Full-time Position Summary:
The Jewelry Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the daily operations of the store. This position involves assisting customers with their jewelry needs, operating the POS system, managing inventory, merchandising displays, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. The ideal candidate should have a passion for jewelry, customer service, and attention to detail. For the right candidate, there are opportunities for career development in GIA course certifications.Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service :
Assist customers in finding the perfect jewelry pieces and provide product knowledge.Sales :
Operate the POS system to complete transactions, process special orders, and handle returns or exchanges.Phone Handling :
Answer incoming calls, address customer inquiries, and provide necessary information about products and services.Merchandising :
Maintain and update jewelry displays to ensure they are visually appealing and aligned with store standards.Store Maintenance :
Perform daily tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, wiping down counters, and keeping the store clean and organized.Inventory :
Assist with inventory management by counting, organizing, and restocking jewelry items as needed.Team Collaboration :
Work alongside other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store and meet sales goals.Qualifications:
