Duties Greet customers warmly as they enter the store, providing exceptional customer service from the moment they walk in Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrations, and upselling opportunities to maximize sales potential Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing Manage stock levels by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and organizing product placements to attract customers Conduct product demos to educate customers on features and benefits, encouraging purchase decisions Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming shopping environment Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information and directing calls efficiently to support store operations Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store setting Supervising experience or leadership skills to guide team members when needed Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, inventory counts, and sales reporting Strong communication skills with bilingual capabilities preferred to serve diverse customer needs Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to build rapport and resolve issues effectively Skilled in upselling techniques and product demos to enhance sales performance Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and basic grocery store operations is highly desirable Join us as a Front Desk Sales Associate and become an essential part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
