The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a positive shopping environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers. Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves as needed. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone. Support supervisory staff in training new team members and maintaining a collaborative work environment. Skills Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Strong phone etiquette skills for effective customer interactions over the phone. Experience with product demos to showcase merchandise effectively. Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing and inventory management. Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous but not required.
