Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate and become the friendly face that helps customers find the perfect products for their gardening, landscaping, and outdoor needs! In this energetic role, you will engage with diverse customers, provide expert advice on horticulture and lawn care, and create a welcoming shopping environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting gardening supplies, plants, lawn care equipment, and landscape materials Provide expert advice on horticulture, floral design, landscape maintenance, and lawn care techniques to enhance customer satisfaction Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise displays, and ensure products are well-merchandised to attract shoppers Maintain organized inventory records, conduct stock checks, and support merchandising efforts to optimize store presentation Assist customers with product inquiries in multiple languages if applicable, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service Support store operations by performing cashier duties, processing returns or exchanges, and managing cash registers with accuracy Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor gardening or landscaping is a plus Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, floral design or related fields enhances your ability to assist customers effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math ensures smooth transaction processing Strong communication skills in English are essential; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customer bases Organizational skills to manage stocking routines and maintain an inviting store environment Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays to meet store needs Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to helping customers create beautiful outdoor spaces!
