We are Chattanooga's oldest Mattress retailer and have been family owned and operated for over 40 years. We offer a great work environment where we leave you alone and allow you to earn a great living. We are looking for people who are not afraid to ask for the sale and work on commission. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting them find products that help them sleep better. If you have a passion for sales and enjoy working in a retail environment, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs and preferences
- Provide product knowledge and answer any questions or concerns
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Upsell products and recommend additional items to enhance the customer's purchase
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- must be able to work in a retail store unsupervised for up to 9 hours a day
- must be willing to work until 7pm
- must be willing to work weekends if needed
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math concepts for pricing and discounts
