Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive sales and create memorable shopping experiences. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen actively to understand their needs, and provide expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and floral design products. Assist customers in selecting merchandise, demonstrating product features, and offering tailored recommendations to enhance their outdoor projects. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, transactions, and inventory management. Stock shelves accurately, organize displays creatively, and ensure the store remains clean and inviting. Maintain knowledge of current product offerings, including e-commerce platforms, to support online orders and in-store sales seamlessly. Support merchandising efforts by setting up attractive displays that highlight seasonal items and promotional offers. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries in multiple languages if applicable, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Requirements Previous experience or strong interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or floral design is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs. Basic proficiency with retail math, cash handling, POS systems, and cashiering procedures. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking shelves and managing inventory. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise or setting up displays. Knowledge of retail sales techniques combined with a friendly attitude to engage customers effectively.
