Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations. Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store remains clean, organized, and visually appealing through effective merchandising. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, assisting with stock replenishment, and supporting inventory audits. Offer multilingual support to serve diverse customer needs and improve overall communication within the store. Assist customers with online orders via e-commerce platforms, ensuring smooth order processing and pickup or delivery arrangements. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Knowledge of gardening, lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture or floral design is a plus. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly valued to connect with a diverse clientele. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math ensures accurate transactions. Excellent organizational skills for stocking merchandise and maintaining store presentation standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or arranging displays.
