Store Team Member

Doggy World Resort is seeking dependable, hardworking, and animal-loving team members to join our staff. This position is responsible for providing excellent daily care for dogs in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.

Responsibilities:

Opening Duties Open and prepare the facility for daily operations Feed dogs according to scheduled feeding instructions Let dogs outside for morning potty breaks and exercise Administer medications as directed when needed Wash food bowls and dishes and properly store all items Complete daily dog report cards by 12:00 PM Change all dog water every two hours to maintain freshness Monitor and maintain clean kennels throughout the day Facility Cleaning & Maintenance Vacuum the front lobby area Sweep and mop floors in the main areas and playrooms Thoroughly clean behind couches, furniture, and around the ice chest Maintain a sanitary and organized environment at all times Closing Duties Empty trash throughout the facility as needed Clean and sanitize water buckets and feeding supplies Feed dogs at 4:00 PM Take all dogs out after feeding Ensure all dogs are safely kenneled by 6:00 PM Vacuum the front lobby before closing Secure and lock the facility at the end of the shift Qualifications Must be comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required Ability to work efficiently and safely while handling multiple dogs Must be able to quickly and calmly kennel dogs when customers enter the facility Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and remain active throughout the shift Previous kennel, daycare, boarding, or animal care experience is preferred but not required
