Sales Associates you would be responsible for creating a fun, welcoming, and memorable shopping experience for every guest. Associates serve as brand ambassadors by providing outstanding customer service, maintaining store appearance, promoting products, and contributing to a positive team environment. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service Greet every customer in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. Engage with guests and provide product knowledge and recommendations. Answer customer questions and resolve concerns professionally. Create a fun and inviting shopping experience that reflects the Duck Yeah! brand. Thank customers for visiting and encourage repeat business. Sales Actively promote merchandise and special offers. Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs. Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals. Suggest additional items and upsell when appropriate. Cash Register Operations Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently. Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions. Maintain an accurate cash drawer and follow all cash handling procedures. Assist with opening and closing register responsibilities. Store Appearance & Merchandising Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked. Maintain attractive product displays and merchandise presentation. Restock inventory as needed throughout the shift. Assist with receiving and pricing merchandise. Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, dusting, cleaning displays, and organizing storage areas. Teamwork Work cooperatively with management and fellow team members. Communicate effectively regarding customer needs, inventory concerns, and operational issues. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a productive work environment. Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow directions and company policies. Cash Handling Abilities Retail experience preferred but not required. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Performance Expectations Employees are expected to: Provide exceptional customer service.
