Team Lead (Manufacturing / Production) Somerville, TN $15/hr

Overview of Team Lead:

As a Team Lead , you'll help keep our production shift running safely and correctly. You'll check schedules, complete shift documentation, monitor product and equipment, support quality and cGMP compliance, and step in to fix issues quickly—while leading by example on the floor. Required Skills for

Team Lead:

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and cGMPs Ability to review production schedules Complete daily production reports, shift logs, and start-up checklists Adjust process to keep product within specifications (e.g., fill weights, labels, lot codes) Ensure correct labeling, identification, palletization , and case/carton counts Perform product and machine surveillance and complete required checks/inspections Visually inspect for basic defects ; rework/sort as needed Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and maintain clean work areas Nice to Have Skills for Team Lead Experience participating in Safety Teams Experience on packaging/labeling lines with sequence accuracy Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma , GED, or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience Ability to complete the training program within the allotted time Other Requirements for Team Lead Work requires frequent standing , regular use of hands/fingers , and occasional walking/reaching Must be able to lift/move up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally Specific vision abilities required by the job Take scheduled breaks and punch in/out at required times Other duties as assigned Notify supervisors/maintenance of machine malfunctions or product defects Good oral and written communication Basic math: add/subtract/multiply/divide two-digit numbers; calculate simple averages/ranges Ability to apply instructions and lead as part of a team #INDM
