This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, engaging in face-to-face conversation, and delivering exceptional service through direct, in-person interactions. As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers in the store, helping with questions, product selection, and purchases. This is a face-to-face, customer-facing sales role — you will play a key role in creating positive in-person customer experiences while supporting company sales goals and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Face-to-Face Customer Service & Sales Greet and assist customers in person in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Engage customers directly on the sales floor to understand their needs and recommend products. Listen actively to customer concerns and provide accurate information and effective solutions. Resolve customer issues during the interaction whenever possible. Escalate complex issues to supervisors as needed. Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude during all face-to-face customer interactions. Sales Support & Problem Resolution Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to drive sales. Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and account updates accurately at checkout. Follow established procedures to handle complaints, concerns, and service issues. Conduct follow-up with customers when needed to ensure satisfaction. Build customer trust and loyalty through exceptional in-person service. Documentation & Administrative Tasks Accurately document customer interactions and transactions in company systems. Maintain detailed records while ensuring confidentiality and data security. Verify customer information and update records as necessary. Follow company compliance requirements and quality standards during all interactions. Complete required reports and administrative tasks in a timely manner. Team Collaboration & Performance Meet individual and team performance goals, including sales, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics. Participate in coaching sessions, training programs, and team meetings. Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and company policies. Share customer feedback and observations to help improve processes and customer experience. Contribute to a positive, supportive, and customer-focused team environment. Comfortable engaging directly with customers in person. Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer and POS system skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required. Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
