As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our café. You will be responsible for food preparation, handling cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist customers with menu selections and provide excellent service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food handling. Skills Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Strong basic math skills for accurate order processing and retail math applications. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques.
