Do you have experience in vinyl, comic books, sports memorabilia, trading cards, or antique collectibles? Are you good at building rapport with high net-worth clients? The Collector's Crossroads Sales Consultant assists in the daily operations of the store, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively. The Retail Sales Associate must be professional and customer service orientated. They will be responsible for meeting monthly sales goals and improving customer satisfaction. This individual must have a deep understanding and a great deal of interest in the different types of collectibles at the store. The retail sales associate assists customers in the purchase process and works to develop long term customer rapport by seeking to identify the customer's needs. The retail sales associate maintains the appearance of the sales floor.
General Duties/Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains the appearance of the sales floor.
- Respond timely to merchandise inquiries and questions.
- Provide premium customer collectible experiences to our new and existing customers.
- Build relationships with all clients.
- Ensure new merchandise is displayed quickly, accurately, and creatively.
- Assists customers in the purchase process.
- Stay on top of industry trends to stay on top of business growth.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and management team.
- Cash handling responsibilities.
- Report to the Store Manager and CEO.
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in selling rare collectibles and /or merchandise of high value.
- Must be able to type proficiently.
- Flexibility in work schedule reflecting the needs and patterns of the store.
- Fluency with current retail software / computer systems including Shopify, eBay, and Microsoft Excel.
- Passionate about collectibles and their area of specialization.
- Knowledgeable of collectibles and online selling techniques.
- Communication skills, they communicate well in person, on the phone, on email, on chat with clients.
- Market Savvy, they figure out the best way to sell collectibles and understand changes in the market.
