Accounting spreadsheet experience, creating excel spreadsheets and creating formulas for totaling and tabulations will be part of routine. Answers all incoming phones and refers customer to appropriate staff. Will assist customers with home flooring needs. Selling rugs, either premade or custom made will be part of daily sales performance. Providing specific flooring characteristics to customers will be necessary to help determine correct floor selection for customer's needs. Handles daily record keeping of all samples checked out to customers. Will set up appointmnets to measure flooring for installation bid. Will creat a proposal for customer using measurements obtained by physical measuring, or using a pdf or using a blueprint of a floor plan to determine accurate amount of square footage needed for purchasing of material and for installation purposes. Will provide a sales price to customer. Will consult with installer to determine appropriate payment for work performed. Will collect payments from customers. Keeps customer orders in line with required data fields for future followup, ensuring that closeout paperwork is provided to customer for warranty purposes. Develops customer relations for future sales promotions and other customer service followup. Digital marketing skills preferred, with previous experience detailing marketing strategies and routines. Other duties as needed. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Will rearrange displays as needed. Will move boxes into storage unit. Will rearrange rugs on rug racks, taking down rugs and placing price tags on rugs.
