Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive parts needs through active listening and effective communication. Utilize inventory management systems, POS (Point of Sale) terminals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to locate, order, and fulfill parts efficiently. Provide expert advice on automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance to assist customers in making informed decisions. Manage inventory control by stocking shelves accurately, conducting stock checks, and ensuring proper organization of parts. Negotiate with customers to recommend suitable products while maintaining a focus on sales management goals. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures, including cash handling and sales recording. Collaborate with the service team to support automotive service operations, ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting clients over the phone or via digital communication channels. Support marketing initiatives by promoting special offers or new product lines to enhance retail sales performance. Keep detailed records of sales activities, inventory levels, and customer interactions using Microsoft Excel or other organizational tools. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales or dealership environments with a focus on automotive parts is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and vehicle maintenance techniques. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual abilities are highly valued. Familiarity with inventory management systems such as CMMS or POS platforms; experience with inventory control is advantageous. Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and record keeping. Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing, discounts, and profit calculations. Experience with automotive service operations or dealership experience is preferred but not required. Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent phone etiquette to build rapport with customers. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting purposes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence.
