Retail Sales Associate

Spring Guns & Ammo is currently hiring for the Sales position at our Crosby location. We are seeking a firearm enthusiast with great interpersonal, communication and organizational skills to fill this position.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service and support via phone and in person. Have functional knowledge of handguns, long guns, accessories and optics. Assist customers in the selection, demonstration and purchase of all products and services, including firearms, firearm accessories, ammunition, special orders, memberships and training courses. Ability to effectively upsell merchandise, training classes, memberships, etc. to customers. Ensure shelves are fully stocked, product is faced, clean and correctly priced. Understand and be proficient in firearms sales and forms as required by Federal, State and Local laws; Form 4473, Multiple Handgun Sale Form, Call procedures and Response Implications. (Training is available) Effectively complete sales through our Point of Sale system. Basic upkeep of range and store facilities Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

Previous retail experience (1-3 years); preferred but not required. Ability to operate store equipment in assigned area, including but not limited to cash registers, computers, telephones and range equipment. Previous customer service and sales experience. Position requires availability during retail hours any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Work schedule will be determined by store management based upon the needs of the store. This position is full-time, working +/- 40 hours per week. Additional hours may be scheduled based upon the needs of the store.
