Our Bagger and Cart Attendant team members play an important role in ensuring customers leave with a smile by providing exceptional service and keeping our store clean, organized, and ready to serve the community. Position Summary The Bagger / Cart Attendant is responsible for assisting customers with their groceries, maintaining shopping cart availability, and helping keep the front end of the store clean and organized. This role requires a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to assist wherever needed. Responsibilities Customer Service Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Carefully bag groceries to protect products and ensure customer satisfaction. Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles when requested. Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience. Help customers locate products or direct them to the appropriate department. Cart Attendant Duties Retrieve shopping carts from parking lots and surrounding areas. Keep cart corrals and entrances stocked with clean, organized carts. Ensure carts are safely returned and stored properly. Assist in maintaining a safe and clutter-free parking lot. Store Maintenance & Support Help maintain cleanliness throughout the front end of the store. Clean spills and assist with general housekeeping duties as needed. Empty trash receptacles and maintain clean customer areas. Assist cashiers and other departments during busy periods. Help stock front-end merchandise and supplies when needed. Qualifications Preferred Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus, but not required. Required Friendly and outgoing personality. Strong work ethic and willingness to help others. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Dependable and punctual. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to frequently push and pull shopping carts. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
