Job Description

Hey local nature lovers! We are hiring at Wild Birds Unlimited of Dripping Springs and seeking Sales Associates with great retail and service skills. You will be part of a team whose mission is to bring people and nature together (and do it with excellence!) through the hobby of backyard bird feeding. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a high energy customer experience. The difference between Wild Birds Unlimited and other retailers goes far beyond what we sell... It's who we are! Requirements:
  • Previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Friendly, hardworking, outgoing disposition, positive attitude, and energetic personality
  • Bird feeding and/or birding experience is a plus
  • Interested in wildlife and nature
  • Ability to lift and carry seed (20 pound bags) for our customers—a foundation of our service! Please note that this position requires a lot of heavy lifting.
  • Flexible schedule (Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm) and the ability to work during busy holiday seasons
  • Comfortable with computers and the ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Ability to multitask and stay cool and collected during busy days We offer:

  • Flexible hours Our current business hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm meaning you will need to open at 9:45 and close up shop at approximately 6:15pm.
This position does require that you work during the busy holiday shopping seasons. We are looking for serious applicants who are ready to work hard and stay with us long term!
