Part-Time (25-30 hours per week) About Us Camer African Market & Cuisine is a growing African grocery store serving the DFW community with authentic African foods, frozen products, meats, seafood, groceries, and prepared foods. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking team member to support our back-room operations and help keep our store organized and stocked. Position Summary The Back Room Operations Associate is responsible for maintaining inventory, stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, packaging products, restocking freezers, and supporting daily store operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and keeping things organized. Responsibilities Stock shelves and replenish inventory throughout the store Organize and maintain back-room storage areas Package meat, fish, and other products according to company procedures Restock and organize freezer inventory Receive and put away deliveries Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation Break down boxes and maintain a clean work environment Sweep, mop, and help maintain cleanliness of work areas Clean and organize freezer and storage areas Identify low-stock items and report inventory needs Assist with general store operations as needed Requirements Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Ability to follow instructions and work independently Previous warehouse, stocking, grocery, retail, or inventory experience is helpful but not required What We're Looking For Strong work ethic Positive attitude Team player Organized and detail-oriented Willing to help wherever needed Schedule Part-time, approximately 25-30 hours per week. Weekend availability is preferred. As a small business, all employees are expected to assist in various areas of store operations when needed, including stocking, cleaning, organizing inventory, receiving deliveries, packaging products, and maintaining store appearance.
