In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between efficient package handling and exceptional customer service. You'll manage shipping and receiving operations, assist customers with their shipping needs, and ensure smooth warehouse workflows. Your proactive approach will help us deliver outstanding service while maintaining accurate inventory and streamlined logistics processes. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management, logistics, and customer engagement in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process incoming and outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems and RF scanners to ensure accurate tracking and documentation. Prepare packages for shipment by selecting appropriate packaging materials, weighing items, and applying labels efficiently. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts to load, unload, and organize stock within the warehouse. Assist customers with shipping options, label creation, tracking inquiries, and resolving shipment issues to enhance their experience. Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, order picking, order fulfillment, and stocking of products for quick access. Utilize warehouse distribution techniques to optimize space utilization and streamline order picking processes for e-commerce orders. Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper load & unload procedures and ensuring the safe operation of all equipment including MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems) like AS400 or similar platforms. Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, MRP systems such as AS400 is a plus. Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and inventory control enhances your effectiveness in this role. Ability to operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely is highly desirable; certification is a plus but not mandatory. Basic math skills are essential for weighing packages, calculating dimensions, and verifying shipment details accurately. Previous exposure to e-commerce logistics or warehouse distribution environments will help you excel in managing high-volume order fulfillment tasks.
