opening for a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate.

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00/hour

Job Summary:

As a Retail Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the retail store. You will be the face of the store, greeting customers, and assisting them with their purchases. Your duties will include stocking shelves, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This is a full-time position, averaging 40-50+ hours a week. Must be able to work listed days and hours. If you cannot work the hours and days listed (Wednesday-Sunday, 8:30AM to Dusk), please do not apply for this opening. Typically rotating weekly shifts, open one week, close the next week. Must be dependable, have reliable transportation, and be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding the products they need. Answer customers' questions and provide information about products and services. Process transactions at the cash register, including handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards. Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed. Organize and maintain the store's appearance, including cleaning and tidying displays, shelves, and floors. Collaborate with team members to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently. Participate in team meetings to discuss sales goals, promotions, and customer feedback. Help to prepare the store for opening and closing, including ensuring all products are properly secured. Follow all store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and positive environment for customers and employees.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Retail or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Basic computer skills, including the ability to use a cash register and other store equipment.

Additional Job Duties:

Attention to detail- must be able to identify and calculate various sales to ensure accuracy. Support small group activities or events, providing helpful information and ensuring a positive experience for all participants. Help customers with membership sign-ups, renewals, and inquires, ensuring they understand the benefits of each option. Product knowledge- learn more about store products and promotions to provide accurate information to all customers.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and climb ladders. Retail Salespeople are responsible for the sale of firearms, ammunition. Ability to work weekends and some evenings.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position Wednesday - Sunday Regular operational hours: 8:30am to Dusk. Overtime available during busy season or occasional events

Benefits:

Benefits are available to full-time employees the first of the month following the first 90 days of employment.
