Job Description

3D Printing - Sales Associate Moonshot 3D Lewisville, TX Job Details Full-time $45,000 - $55,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Sales Inside sales B2B sales Direct sales Full Job Description About Moonshot 3D Moonshot 3D is a 3D printing service bureau based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We run industrial MJF, SLS, FDM, and SLA machines, and we're the only provider in DFW offering both MJF and SLS. Our customers include Tesla, Rivian, Boston Dynamics and Amazon. We're a small, hands-on team, and we're growing. The Role We're hiring a 3D Printing Sales Associate to own inbound quotes that come through our door. You'll learn how we quote, follow up with customers, close orders, and coordinate with our production manager to keep jobs moving once they land. This is a desk-based role, but your training will start on the shop floor so you understand what you're selling and why it matters. We're not looking for someone who already has it figured out. We're looking for someone hungry, curious, and willing to learn. If you want to understand how a real manufacturing business works from the inside, and you're not afraid of getting your hands a little dirty, this is a great place to start. What You'll Do Manage all inbound quote requests from receipt to close, with a one-hour turnaround standard. Build quotes in our quoting software and learn the materials and processes behind each one. Follow up with customers on open quotes on a consistent cadence so nothing falls through the cracks. Coordinate with our Production Manager on capacity, lead times, and order status updates. Process purchase orders, communicate timelines back to customers, and keep order details accurate end-to-end. Spend time on the shop floor in your first 60 days learning the machines, materials, and post-processing so you actually know what you're quoting. Help us continually improve our sales and customer service side of the business. Who We're Looking For Ambition and curiosity matter more than experience. We'd rather hire someone who wants to learn the whole business than someone who has done this exact job somewhere else. You're early in your career and looking for a role where you can grow into more responsibility. You're comfortable on the phone and in email with engineers, buyers, and procurement teams. You write clearly and follow up reliably. You don't let things slip. You're curious about how things are made. You don't need to know what MJF is yet, but you want to learn. You're comfortable in a small team where what needs to get done isn't always neatly defined. You're based in DFW or willing to be on-site in our facility every day. Nice to Have (Not Required) Any prior customer-facing experience - retail, hospitality, customer service, inside sales, or coordination roles. Comfort with spreadsheets, CRM tools, or basic business software. An engineering, technical, or manufacturing background or interest. Familiarity with 3D printing, machining, or any kind of production environment. Compensation and Schedule $45,000 to $55,000 base salary, depending on experience. Full-time, on-site at our DFW facility. Weekday schedule. Why This Job Is Worth Your Time You'll work directly with the CEO and the production manager. You'll see how a real manufacturing business runs from the front office to the shop floor. You'll learn how to quote, sell, and coordinate complex orders for some of the most respected engineering companies in the world. And if you're someone who wants to grow into more, there's room to do that here. How to Apply Send a resume and a short note (a few sentences is fine) telling us why this role caught your attention. We're not looking for a polished cover letter. We want to hear your voice.
