Job Description
Overview VapeX Smoke Shop is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. We are a newly opened smoke shop in McKinney, and we're looking for someone who enjoys talking with customers, building relationships, and helping grow the business. This is a relaxed and flexible work environment with steady opportunities to learn and contribute. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, provides excellent customer service, and can help turn first-time visitors into loyal customers. Responsibilities Greet customers and create a welcoming shopping experience Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences Help increase sales through product knowledge and customer engagement Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked Verify IDs and follow all tobacco and vape sales regulations Stay informed about new products and industry trends Represent the store professionally and positively Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with customers Strong sales and customer service skills Reliable, honest, and punctual Previous smoke shop, vape shop, retail, or sales experience is a plus Willingness to learn about products and help grow the business Pay $11-$14 per hour (based on experience)Performance bonuses may be available based on sales and store growth.
