Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate and become the friendly face that helps customers find exactly what they need! In this energetic role, you'll deliver exceptional customer service, assist with product demonstrations, and create a welcoming shopping environment. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will drive sales, ensure smooth transactions, and promote our products effectively. Whether guiding customers through their shopping journey or managing stock and merchandising, you'll play a vital part in delivering an outstanding retail experience. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an organized and attractive store layout Handle cash, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling procedures with integrity Maintain excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock replenishments, and organizing merchandise displays Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate transactions and inventory counts Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team support roles Ability to perform cashiering duties confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices Excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and a friendly demeanor to foster positive customer interactions Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail calculations Join us in creating memorable shopping experiences!
