Luxury Retail Store Associate

Seeking a talented full-time retail sales associate for a luxury men's store Gruene Outfitters at The Station is a locally owned, luxury men's boutique located between Austin and San Antonio. We specialize in elevated menswear, tailored sport jackets, fine leather goods, premium footwear, and distinctive accessories—serving a discerning clientele of locals, travelers, and international guests. We are seeking a polished, service-driven Sales Associate who is passionate about style, craftsmanship, and delivering an exceptional client experience. Position Overview As a Luxury Retail Sales Associate, you will represent the Gruene Outfitters brand through personalized service, strong product knowledge, and attention to detail. You will build meaningful client relationships while maintaining the elevated atmosphere and standards of the store. Key Responsibilities Deliver a high-touch, personalized shopping experience for every client Develop and maintain strong client relationships and repeat business Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of luxury menswear, tailoring, and accessories Assist clients with styling, fit, and wardrobe building Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation Support daily operations including inventory, merchandising, and point-of-sale Uphold the brand's image of sophistication, professionalism, and hospitality Qualifications Previous retail or sales experience (luxury or menswear preferred) Strong sense of personal style and understanding of men's fashion Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, polished, and detail-oriented demeanor Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Passion for delivering exceptional customer service What We Offer Competitive hourly pay + sales incentives Opportunity to work with premium brands and products A refined, team-oriented work environment Growth opportunities within a locally owned business

Work Schedule and Hours:

Weekend and holiday availability is required, with one weekend off allowed per month.

Shifts:

Flexible shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Training and Onboarding:

New hires will receive an employee policy packet before or on their first day and will be onboarded directly by their supervisor. The first 90 days serve as a probationary period, with regular check-ins and on-the-job training.

What We're Looking For:

1-2+ years of high end or luxury retail Comfortable working with POS systems, merchandising, and handling transactions Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Able to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers Availability to work weekends and holidays (with one weekend off per month)

Job Types and Pay:

Full-time | $14.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
