In this role, you'll be the friendly face that helps customers find what they need, provides product demonstrations, and ensures the store stays organized and inviting. Whether assisting with stocking shelves or processing transactions, you'll play a vital part in our store's success. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to meet their needs effectively Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience Assist with merchandising by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented Handle cashing out customers accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures Support upselling efforts by recommending additional products that complement customer purchases Maintain store cleanliness and organization by stocking shelves regularly and managing inventory levels Requirements Prior retail sales or grocery store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for pricing and discounts Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership potential in team settings Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting merchandise, and standing for extended periods Knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures to ensure smooth checkout processes Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
