The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise within a fast-paced environment, utilizing product knowledge and sales techniques to enhance the shopping experience. Bilingual abilities and prior retail or grocery store experience are highly valued. The Sales Associate will be responsible for engaging with customers, managing transactions, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store or grocery environment Operate POS systems efficiently for cashiering, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of merchandise Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by arranging products attractively and restocking shelves as needed Manage stock levels through stocking and inventory management practices Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Assist with supervising team members when applicable, supporting training and daily operations Perform basic retail math to handle transactions, discounts, and returns accurately Uphold phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via other channels Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities as a plus Experience with product demos, upselling, merchandising, and stock management preferred Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations and transaction accuracy Supervising experience is a plus but not required; leadership qualities are valued Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of phone etiquette and effective communication techniques Join our team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences while advancing your sales career in a supportive retail setting.
