Job Title:

Sales Associate (Diesel Truck & Trailer Parts)

Job Summary:

Vaquero Truck and Trailer Parts is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge in diesel truck and trailer parts and a strong ability to assist customers with selecting the right products. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required to effectively serve our diverse customer base.

Pay:

$9 - $13 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in identifying and selecting truck and trailer parts based on their needs Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations Maintain knowledge of inventory to provide accurate information and support Locate, order, and track parts as needed Process sales transactions and handle cash accurately Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked (including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing) Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management Communicate product availability and estimated lead times to customers Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions Support team members in meeting sales goals and improving performance Stay updated on new products and industry trends Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) Basic knowledge of diesel truck and trailer parts preferred Previous retail or sales experience is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Basic math skills for handling transactions Ability to learn systems and processes quickly Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
