Whether assisting customers on the sales floor or managing cashier duties, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding shopping journey. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Upsell products and promote store promotions through engaging product demos and personalized recommendations Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to attract customer attention and maximize sales opportunities Assist with stocking, inventory management, and product replenishment to ensure the sales floor remains inviting and well-stocked Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and practicing effective phone etiquette Support in supervising or mentoring new team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math is advantageous Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills coupled with friendly phone etiquette are essential for engaging with customers and team members Demonstrated ability to upsell products and perform merchandising tasks confidently Supervising experience is a plus, indicating leadership potential within the team Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career in a lively environment.
