Responsibilities Job Summary:
As a Beauty Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing a well-stocked and well-maintained department while providing superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Customer Service:
Provides superior customer service that's focused on hospitality Answers customer questions regarding products; assists them with selections; helps customers locate merchandise Engages Customers to offer individual beauty solutions based on their needs
Sales:
Merchandises product effectively, using advanced knowledge and skills Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales Applies advanced knowledge of all current trends on a daily basis in beauty for hair care, skin care, and makeup Assists in the execution of the sampling, testing, and demos events to drive customer engagement Applies understanding of department financials and how to drive results Stocking /
Sanitation:
Interacts with vendors as needed Stocks / rotates items as needed Assists with inventory control to ensure in-stock conditions Maintains standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation Cleans / sanitizes sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment Properly handles and maintains the operation of all equipment Complies with departmental SOPs and store operating procedures The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
