Temporary Guest Services Team Member

Part-Time Guest Services Staff are responsible for assisting guests with various tasks during large events such as concerts and sporting events.

Duties:

Scanning tickets and ushering guests to their seats. Ensure safety of guests by enforcing venue protocol and procedures. Assist with screening guests at metal detectors. Redirect guests to the appropriate area if lost or unsure of where to go. Observe and report any activity that may affect the safety of guests. Assist guests with disabilities and specific service requirements (provide equipment, point guest in the correct direction, etc.)

Requirements:

Excellent customer service skills and positive personality. Flexible work schedule. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in an extremely noisy environment. Excellent attention to detail Follow directions from leads, supervisors, and managers at all times. Hygienic, well-groomed appearance. Ability to stand for long periods of time (8-12 hours). Ability to maintain productivity requirements in a fast-paced facility Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information. Ability to remember and communicate routine, factual information. Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology Ability to apply common sense and make decisions which have a moderate impact on the immediate work unit Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of communicating orally with others accurately, loudly, and quickly Must be 18 years of age or older Must pass background and drug screen. Must be okay with random drug screens on-site during events.
