Store Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Store Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and experience in retail or grocery store settings. Bilingual abilities and supervising experience are a plus, but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales skills and grow within our company. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing Conduct product demos to promote merchandise and increase sales Upsell products to enhance customer shopping experience and meet sales goals Maintain proper merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Perform cashier duties accurately while maintaining phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone Support supervising staff in managing daily store operations when needed Engage customers through effective communication skills to promote products and services Requirements Previous experience in retail sales, grocery store, or similar environment preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management Bilingual skills are a plus to assist diverse customer base Experience in merchandising, stocking, product demos, or upselling is desirable Supervising experience is advantageous but not mandatory Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed This position is ideal for individuals passionate about retail sales, providing excellent service, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
