Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance on lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, and floral design products. Assist customers in selecting merchandise that meets their needs, offering knowledgeable advice on product features and benefits. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations. Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring merchandise is well-organized, properly displayed, and replenished regularly to enhance visual merchandising. Maintain a clean and inviting store environment by organizing displays, managing inventory levels, and performing stocking duties. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions in multiple languages if applicable and resolving concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Support e-commerce initiatives by assisting with online order pickups or inquiries when needed. Qualifications Prior experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or floral design is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor living is essential. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs. Basic proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures. Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and merchandising displays efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing outstanding customer service. Knowledge of retail sales techniques combined with a friendly attitude to engage customers effectively. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform stocking or merchandising tasks comfortably.
