Store Associate, Front of House and Back of House Operations Clearfork Market is a natural foods grocery and wellness market located in the heart of Parker County. We serve our community with a carefully curated mix of local farm products, organic and natural groceries, clean supplements, fresh produce, and trusted wellness goods. Our store is guided by a farm to table, local first philosophy. We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and detail oriented Store Associates who can support both the front and back of the store. This role is ideal for someone with grocery, produce, retail, stocking, receiving, or customer service experience who takes pride in doing quality work, showing up on time, staying organized, and helping the store run smoothly every day. Position Summary The Store Associate is responsible for supporting daily store operations in both front of house and back of house areas. This includes helping customers, operating the register, stocking shelves, maintaining produce quality, receiving inventory, organizing back stock, keeping the store clean, and assisting wherever needed. We are looking for a store professional who understands that great grocery operations require consistency, urgency, attention to detail, and teamwork. The right candidate should be dependable, punctual, physically capable, willing to work hard, and comfortable handling fresh produce and perishable products with care.

Hudson Oaks, TX 76087 Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide friendly, helpful, and professional customer service. Greet customers and create a welcoming store environment. Assist customers with product questions, selections, and store navigation. Operate the POS register accurately and efficiently. Handle customer transactions, receipts, payments, and basic register duties. Learn and share basic product knowledge, especially around natural foods, wellness, produce, and local products. Stock shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays with attention to detail. Front and straighten shelves so products look full, clean, and organized. Receive, check in, and break down incoming deliveries. Verify product accuracy, quality, and condition during receiving. Organize and maintain back of house inventory and storage areas. Follow First In, First Out practices for all products, especially perishables. Work produce carefully, including stocking, rotating, checking quality, pulling poor product, and maintaining attractive displays. Monitor produce freshness, appearance, and shrink throughout the day. Support cooler, freezer, dry grocery, supplement, produce, and back stock organization. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in both the front and back of the store. Follow food safety, sanitation, and product handling standards. Communicate clearly with team members and managers. Move with urgency and stay productive throughout the shift. Jump in where needed to support smooth daily operations. Front of House Focus Store Associates may spend part of their shift focused on front of house responsibilities, including: Customer service and sales support. Register operation and checkout accuracy. Helping customers find products. Educating customers on featured items, promotions, and store offerings. Maintaining clean, attractive shelves and displays. Creating a friendly and professional first impression for customers. Back of House Focus Store Associates may also support back of house responsibilities, including: Receiving trucks and vendor deliveries. Breaking down shipments and organizing product. Stocking from back stock to the sales floor. Keeping storage areas clean and orderly. Managing product rotation and expiration dates. Supporting produce quality control. Maintaining cooler, freezer, and back stock organization. Produce Responsibilities Fresh produce is an important part of Clearfork Market, so the ideal candidate should be willing and able to work with produce regularly.
This includes:
Handling fresh produce carefully and professionally. Stocking and refreshing produce displays. Rotating product to reduce waste and maintain freshness. Pulling damaged, poor quality, or expired produce. Keeping produce areas clean, full, and appealing. Understanding that produce requires consistent attention throughout the day. What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is: Reliable, punctual, and consistent. Hardworking and willing to stay busy. Detail oriented and organized. Able to work with urgency without sacrificing quality. Comfortable performing both customer facing and back of house tasks. Friendly, respectful, and professional with customers and coworkers. Able to follow instructions and complete tasks without constant supervision. Willing to learn store systems, product standards, and daily routines. Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting, stocking, and moving product throughout the shift. Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds when needed. Interested in natural foods, local products, wellness, and healthy living. Experienced in grocery, produce, retail, stocking, receiving, or customer service preferred. Requirements Must be dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts. Must be willing to work weekdays and Saturdays. Must be able to perform physical store tasks, including lifting, stocking, bending, and standing for extended periods. Must be able to work in both front of house and back of house areas as needed.
