Job Summary Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive a lively shopping experience! Duties Operate the POS system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customers to explore new items. Upsell relevant products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory. Assist in stocking shelves, organizing back stock, and managing inventory levels to support smooth store operations. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or placing orders remotely. Support supervising staff by guiding new team members or helping manage busy periods efficiently. Requirements Previous experience with POS systems and cash handling is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a retail or grocery store environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Experience in supervising or leading team members is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos enhances your effectiveness in this role. Excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and the ability to upsell products confidently are essential for success.
