Job Overview Friedrichs Family Eye Center with locations in Martinsville, Chatham, Danville, and Rocky Mount, Va is seeking 2 energetic and customer-focused Optical Sales Associates (training provided) to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes patients, assists with their needs, and provides expert guidance on our products and services. We offer on the job training by a licensed optician, supportive team, non-retail hours, no weekends, and a great work environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their individual requirements Process transactions accurately while utilizing vision benefits. Utilize electronic ordering system Maintain knowledge of retail math to calculate prices, discounts, and totals efficiently Provide exceptional customer service by resolving questions or concerns promptly and professionally Skills Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and financial transactions Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse customers Be coachable, dependable, and engaged.
