This role involves engaging with customers, providing exceptional service, and assisting in the sales process to ensure a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems, merchandising, and product demonstrations is a plus. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base. Job requires standing and bending to pick up merchandise. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Operate POS systems for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking Ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized throughout the shift Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries Support team members with supervising experience when needed to ensure smooth store operations Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Bilingual skills are a plus to assist a diverse customer base Experience with product demos, upselling, merchandising, and stock management is desirable Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor Supervising experience is beneficial but not required; leadership qualities are appreciated Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a fast-paced retail setting Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to multi-task Ability to bend and pick up boxes for upto 15lbs.
