Jewelry Sales Associate Job DescriptionPosition Summary A Jewelry Sales Associate delivers an exceptional, personalized shopping experience while guiding customers through meaningful purchases. This role focuses on building relationships, educating customers on fine jewelry, and achieving sales goals through trust, product knowledge, and outstanding service. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Sales Greet every customer warmly and create a luxury shopping experience Build relationships through conversation and discovery questions Guide customers through purchases including engagement rings, bridal jewelry, fashion jewelry, and gifts Present products confidently, highlighting quality, craftsmanship, and value Use suggestive selling techniques to increase average sale (add-ons, warranties, upgrades) Follow up with clients to build long-term relationships and repeat business Product Knowledge Maintain strong knowledge of: Diamonds (natural and lab-grown) Gemstones and birthstones Precious metals (gold, platinum, silver) Watch brands and features Clearly explain differences in quality, pricing, and care Stay updated on new collections, trends, and promotions Store Operations Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing showcases Follow all store policies and procedures Assist with inventory control, tagging, and merchandising Handle transactions accurately and securely Support opening and closing duties Client Services Educate customers on service plans, and repairs Assist with custom design inquiries and special orders Handle customer concerns professionally and with urgency

Pay:

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour
